The Project & Brief

Earth-Touch wanted a new and exciting way for users to browse their archive. In the spirit of Digg Labs we set out to design and engineer an experience that would allow the user to get a better feel for the natural world and to make it clear that every day something happens somewhere, and that nature is not just about those “wow moments” as captured in documentaries.

Chronograph is a visual, chronological representation of time and environment using the Earth-Touch wildlife video archive. It enables the visitor to see Earth-Touch’s wildlife footage in context with weather data from Earth-Touch film locations.
